Samsung Galaxy What?!?

It’s a bird…It’s a plane…It’s a camera…Is it a phone? No! It’s a
Samsung Galaxy Point and shoot camera A.K.A (camera non phone communication device). Yes ladies and gentleman I just said “Samsung Galaxy’’ Point and shoot camera. Named after one of the most critically acclaimed android devices of this year. Samsung has decided to ride  the coat tails of success with their Galaxy smartphone lineup and slap the name on their new digital camera.

This Point and shoot is equipped with 16 megapixels, pop up flash, 4.8-inch screen with 280 x 720 pixel resolution showing off its beautiful “Jelly Bean” Android operating system. The Camera also running from a 1.4GHz quad-core processor.

If your still scratching your head in regards to why Samsung considers a camera a “Galaxy” device, it’s because of the built in Wi-Fi radio and 3G/4G technology it shares with its smartphone relatives. The same wireless technology is in the camera for uploading photos directly to an “Auto Cloud Backup” while snapping a picture.

One would think that with a SIM card that you could make a phone call, but the only thing Samsung is letting you do is E-Mail and text.

If you’re dying to get your hands on one of these hybrid devices when they release later this month, stop by the AT&T store for more information regarding pricing and availability.
